“The environment ministry on Tuesday said that it will increase the number of air quality monitoring stations across Delhi to 31 from 21 in a bid to gain a more comprehensive picture of air pollution in the national capital. Currently air pollution data is available only from 10 stations. “We aim to increase the monitoring stations to 31. The main reason behind this planned expansion is to comprehensively cover the whole national capital. Otherwise, a wrong picture is painted of national capital.
